The Dart block has the oil gauge tap off at the rear of the block just below the distributer hole. If you do not run a motor plate, this is not a problem. For me, it is a big problem , unless you make the connection before the engine is connected to the transmission. I will have to use a short pipe to access the hole and then use a 90 degree fitting to connect to the oil gauge hose. I have a feeling this will be the source of a oil leak in the future. It is all pipe fittings. i will look and see if someone has a special rig for this. Jegs, Summit or someone.
I have decided not to change my headers. Under-hood lines, wiring and steering configuration is not something I want to tackle at this point. Fender-well exit headers would have looked good, but at this point, not very practical.
