Moving right along, I trial fitted the pan, again, and found the gasket is not for this block. I put all the pan studs in and the cover for the manual fuel pump hole. I also put the adaptor for the screw-on oil filter. That was when I discovered the gasket for the pan was wrong.
I did get the crankshaft in and checked the end-play. I am tired of torquing main cap bolts.
Tomorrow I will try to get the cam degrees. I got all of the instruments in one place tonight before I stopped for the night.
