I took my heads to Womack’s Block & Head Shop today along with my Head Gaskets. The head gaskets showed a leak from #5 too #7. The left side head showed marks that indicated piston to head contact in #3 and #5. There may be rod bearing damage. We will know more later this week when I get the engine out and can inspect the rod and main bearings.
I may have been talked into a new rotating assembly and a new Dart Big M steel block. I would stay with the 565 CID engine.
