We decided to go and get some seat time in during competition on Friday night. It had rained on Thursday night and the track had to be dried and prepared. This was actually a good thing, as we needed to see how the car would react on a not so good track.
We made two time trials and the car went straight in both lanes. When we were ready for eliminations, there was a very bad spill from an engine breakage and they shut down for a very long period. We decided to go home before they started running again.
We did have one problem. The fuel pump was making a very loud noise, just after starting. All pressures were good. and the car ran just fine, but the noise from the pump was just too loud.
