I took the car off the jackstands for the first time in many months, but did not load up. Good thing, I would have had another Rain Check.
The weather was only part of why I did not go to the track. I am just plain chicken when it comes to Covid 19. The people at the track act like the virus stops at the gate. I was out there two Friday’s ago and only stayed for about 15-20 min. before leaving. Most people did not have masks on and Social Distancing was not to be found, except in the stands. The people at the starting line were acting like it was 2019.
I may go this weekend. That should be a low attendance Friday night and it should be a bit cooler. I can hide in my trailer and restrict entry.
