Kevin “Outlaw” Gray removed the rack last night and I took it to Sonny today.

Sonny had outpatient surgery on his right knee Monday and is just getting up. While I was there, racers called to wish him well, and those wishes and prayers are mine as well. We talked, exchanged racing stories and philosophy for about 1/2 hour. He is doing well.

I should have my rack back by the weekend, so that would mean that I don’t race on Friday or Sat. of this week. Easter weekend will be a good time to spend some time with the family. Jeremy is 20 tomorrow and we will probably have something for him on Friday evening.

Every time Kevin gets close to my car, he has to do an inspection of everything on the bottom side. Last night was no exception. I have a list of 6 items to work off of things that he did not like. I agree with all 6 items, and will start to work them off today. He is a very good inspector. He looks at things different than I do, and that’s a good thing. Houston and Van do the same thing. We all need an extra set of eyes (and knowledge) some time.
