I had to go over to Alvin’s today for instructions on how to use a digital dial bore gauge. We both have the same type instruments. After a few simple lessons, I finally got it. I thought I was going to get away from snap gauges, but not so, at least not yet. I just went on the internet and purchased a inside micrometer set that should do the trick.

He also made me feel at ease about some of the things that I have seen inside my engine, and he confirmed a lot of the readings that I have taken.

The best thing about the visit was the “Baby Back Ribs – Calhoun” that Alvin put on the grill while I was over there. They tasted perfect!
