After attending church early Sunday morning, I arrived at the track around 11:00 am. Van had already won in the 1st round of Super Street. He had a 10.907 @ 147 MPH for the win.

Van worked into the night last night to replace the starter and flywheel. After finishing that job, he found the battery voltage low and had to take one battery out of his truck and put into the racecar. He has Optima batteries in everything so all is well with the racecar. Van now has one red top and one blue top battery. He will replace both with Optima yellow top batteries.

Van lost in the second round with a run of, 10.897 @ 147 MPH. A slight improvement in 60 ft. time was the cause of the breakout. PHOTOS from Sunday.
