I trial fitted my throttle stop to see if it would actually work with the cable, and it did. The mounting for the cable will have to be moved to clear the underside of the cowl panel. Again, everything looked good until I put the cowl panel on. Just like the hood and air cleaner. Speaking of the air cleaner, I have not received it yet, but I am sure it is going to interfere with the throttle stop. Maybe I can cut a slot out of it or bang and hammer a passage. Building race cars are fun!

I put the right side header back on and found out that the old head (right side) has deeper header bolt holes that the new head. I had to go to Pro-Fab (Sonny) to get some shorter header bolts for the right side. I had to put the header on to find out what route to send the fuel and trans. cooler lines through to the front of the engine.

Today I will continue wiring the tach and the other gauges. I will (start to) install the switch/fuse/light panel today. Then on the other hand, maybe I’ll mount the alternator, or cut the hole for the trans. cooler lines. Oh I know, I need to make that board to mount the MSD and get all of those electronics in place, what about the shifter?…
