Today I took the engine off the engine stand, put the converter on the transmission and connected the eng. and trans. and put them into the Camaro. Only four bolts at the mid plate are holding it, along with the hoist and jack, while I try to determine what type of transmission mount to put in.
I ordered a new alternator which will mount on the front of the engine, through the motor plate. After putting the engine in, it looks like there may be some interference with the steering mechanism. The alternator should be here around Weds. or Thursday.
This is why I decided to go ahead and put the engine into the body early. Now I can solve the little problems before I am rushed, which I should never rush, I have all the time i
